A personal message from a very happy WakeYoo owner

Tom!

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say THANK YOU for creating this bomb proof alarm clock.

Tonight I was sat in my dining room and one of my kids has unburied my WakeYoo and was pretending it was a phone (he’s 18 months… the 17 year old has other less positive opinions of the device), which got me thinking “how long ago did I buy that”? and “I wonder if they still exist”?

Both got quickly answered with a Google search (98 and it appears, no) and THEN I spotted your site!

This alarm clock has great stories sir! I fondly remember buying it to replace a cuckoo / chicken / talking alarm clock back in Wales. As I flicked through the Argos catalogue I thought “That’s PERFECT! I can wind up a bunch of people with that!”. The cashier tried upselling me on a lifetime warranty. “Nah, it’ll be fine! It looks rugged enough!” “But sir, what IF someone throws it under a car tyre because it’s so annoying…?” “I’ll take the risk!”. Welp… it hasn’t been near a car tyre but it has travelled to Canada.

It has had many weird recordings, some that scared the crap out of people, some that made me happy to wake up to. My now 17 year old remembers it “randomly” going off at 3am, at an old house we rented. The recorded message was a turkey! FUN TIMES!!

It don’t know what inspired you to create such an amazing device but I just wanted to reach out and thank you for doing so. I’m sure it’ll last another 22 years with a fresh set of batteries. I need to teach my daughters just how cool alarm clocks can be lol.

Hope you have a fantastic day!

Sincerely

Chris Wardman
